Camping and Vending Terms – CHESAPEAKE NATIONAL MEET
September 29 -30, 2023
- This is a family-oriented event – please enjoy yourself, be courteous to others and have fun.
- Vending is a privilege granted only to current AMCA members who sell antique motorcycle merchandise.
- Merchandise is strictly limited to 35 years old and older. Motorcycles, parts, literature and accessories.
- Merchandise which MAY NOT be sold includes motorcycles and parts later than 1985, T-shirts with any questionable wording or pictures, guns, knives, drugs and/or paraphernalia related to same, food, alcoholic beverages, or any AMCA or meet-related T-shirts or novelties.
- Displays must be neat, and grounds be left as clean as found.
- Vendors must conduct themselves in a business-like manner.
- No profanity or loud music.
- The meet opens for business at 7:00am Friday morning September 29, 2023 and closes at 8:00pm Saturday evening September 30, 2023 Sunday October 1 is a casual get away day and campers and vendors are welcome to hang out. The Upperco Volunteer Fire Department will offer breakfast food for sale in the Social Hall Sunday morning.
- Vendors will be permitted to enter the Arcadia Fairgrounds at 7:00am Thursday morning September 29, 2023.
- Vendors must limit their vending to these dates and times.
- Vendors must remove all material they came with – leave no merchandise or trash behind on the grounds.
- Primitive camping is available on a first-come, first-served basis at $50 at the gate ($20 if you register by mail using the Chesapeake Meet registration process) for the duration of the meet, starting Thursday
- Campers must be AMCA members and camp in designated areas. Campfires are allowed as the weather and local authorities permit but all campfires must have a fire ring.
- Quiet time is 10:00pm. Please respect this rule as we are guests at the Arcadia Fairgrounds.
- No dogs (except registered service dogs) allowed on the grounds – this is a host facility rule. Service dogs must be leashed at all times.
- No one under age 16 may operate a motorized vehicle on Arcadia Fairgrounds.
- No refunds granted for any reason.
- All vendors must individually comply with any and all state sales tax rules by collecting and forwarding any required taxes and reports to the appropriate taxing authority - and hold the AMCA, Chesapeake Chapter and Arcadia Fairgrounds harmless from any and all liabilities resulting from their vending transactions.
- No firearms.
2023 Chesapeake Meet and COVID - 19 Pandemic Impacts
Please remain vigilant in regard to safe social gathering and follow any Maryland requirement related to the public health concerns of COVID - 19. Baltimore County, our permitting authority for the Chesapeake AMCA National Meet, is currently aligned with the state of Maryland’s reopening actions and face covering requirements. Baltimore County officials will continue to monitor the spread of COVID-19 and determine the appropriate course of action to keep Baltimore County residents safe and minimize the spread of COVID-19.
